Surfing was one of the reasons that I got into photography. As my knowledge of photography has progressed, so has my ability to take great surfing photos. So now I’d like to share my top tips with you.

I’d never really thought about looking back at my past work. I usually just take a bunch of photos, and some I end up liking and others I don’t. But by deconstructing my photos and analysing what the image actually is and why I like it, I hope to get better at planning photoshoots and create a more focused and consistent editing technique. This is something I’ve been doing for myself, so I thought that if it helps me, it might help you too! Let me know what you think.

Over the last three years I’ve been fortunate enough to spend the majority of my time in the Maldives. On it’s day it is postcard perfect. Pure white sand and water so clear it doesn’t look real.
